We are living in a time of intense change – personally, with our institutions and communities, and in the world at large.
We are living in a time of intense change—personally, within our institutions and communities, and in the world at large. One of the most essential skills we can cultivate is the ability to navigate change in such a way that it becomes transformative, an opportunity for us to grow into our fullest and most authentic selves. The process that leads to transformation through change is transition, which will be the focus of our exploration in this weekend retreat.
In our retreat, based on the work of Parker J. Palmer and the center for courage & renewal, we will take the time and create the space, in both solitude and community, to invite and listen for the voice of the soul to speak. Using stories from our own journeys, poems, and insights from various wisdom traditions, we will create a “sacred pause” from the busyness of our lives to ask deeper questions, to let our inner wisdom speak, and to explore how to more deeply align our outer lives with our inner truth.
