With spiritual practice as our guide, we can traverse that most treacherous of life’s journeys—the 18 inch chasm from our head to our heart.

With spiritual practice as our guide, we can traverse that most treacherous of life's journeys'the 18 inch chasm from our head to our heart. Let's journey together on Friday, September 22 from 7:00pm to 8:30pm in a community gathering of spiritual practice and sacred conversation. This month's practice will include music, text, meditation and a sound-based practice led by Rev. Andy Allis. Everyone is welcome, so bring family and friends and join us in-person or via Zoom. The evening will include a collection of love offerings for One Spirit.

Tony Martin

Tony is an Interspiritual Minister and Clinical Social Worker. He was ordained by One Spirit in 2005 and founded the Community for Conscious Living with five of his classmates in 2007. Tony has delivered sermons and facilitated ritual at the Unity Church for Creative Living in Jacksonville, Florida and A Different Thought Spiritual Community in Atlanta, Georgia. He is proud to be a staff therapist at the Institute for Human Identity, the oldest LGBTQ affirmative psychotherapy center in New York. He specializes in working with anxiety and related disorders. Tony holds a masters' degree in social work and a bachelor's degree in theater. Spiritually- speaking, he characterizes himself an agnostic Taoist and follower of Mary. This means that while he is uncertain about the existence of a Divine presence, he welcomes the gentle mystery and rigorous realism of Taoism, while believing that Mary's example of quiet and fearless service to others is the true meaning of a spiritual life.
