PROFESSIONAL SPEAKING SKILLS:
A Course for Ministers

IIn this class, professional instruction combined with imaginative exercises help enhance the skills necessary to effectively present sermons, perform weddings, officiate at funerals and speak in front of an audience on any occasion. The class is limited to 10 participants to allow each student ample opportunity to make a presentation and receive feedback in every session. The class will cover:

• Overcoming fears
• Crafting effective short and long presentations
• Presentation styles
• Finding your authentic voice

Upon completing the course students will have a solid foundation of speaking skills, enhanced confidence in their ability to be in front of an audience, and a beginning repertoire of material appropriate to situations where clergy are asked to address a group of people.
