ENRICHMENT COURSES
Personal Enrichment & Integral
Spirituality
Many people in our contemporary world are seeking a more
inclusive, vibrant experience of life, as well as a deeper
understanding of themselves and the complex world we inhabit.
At One Spirit Learning Alliance, we understand that everything
emanates from the energy and intelligence that burst forth
thirteen billion years ago in the Big Bang. It is astounding
to recognize that everything that exists today, the plants,
the animals, the stars and each one of us, was enfolded in
that first outpouring of energy. By whatever name we use,
(Cosmic Intelligence, Essence, Buddha Nature, God, etc.) that
first expression of energy must have had an intelligence embedded
within. In the same way, the energy that arises in each of
us contains an intelligence, if our containers are large enough
to hold that energy until the wisdom reveals itself. Many
of us today and the planet itself call for us to live from
this place of wisdom.
We see no conflict between evolutionary unfoldment and spiritual
presence. Our programs reflect this perspective by integrating
ancient wisdom with contemporary knowledge which help us open
our minds, awaken our hearts and embody that wisdom in everyday
life.
Ancient Wisdom for Modern Life: the
Great Religious Traditions in the Light of Contemporary Knowledge
encourages a direct experience of the mystical aspects
of the world’s great spiritual traditions. The class
explores the ancient teachings in the light of contemporary
scientific and relational theories. Through experiential exercises,
reading, lecture, and dialogue students build a trans-traditional
understanding of the common ground beneath all the ancient
paths and contemporary theories.
Spiritual Depth: The Foundation of
a Purposeful Life and Authentic Leadership is designed
to facilitate the process of inner transformation by deepening
our capacity for awareness and presence. Personal development
is encouraged through a variety of approaches, including experiential
exercises, readings, presentations, meditation, self reflection,
journaling, drawing, dream work and group dialogue.
