Service

Service is a common thread that runs through all wisdom traditions. When we offer ourselves in service to one another, we open to a new sense of who we are. As a means of learning about the experience of offering selfless service, students are required to volunteer a minimum of 12 hours of time each year in community service. Service can take many forms. Students volunteer in whatever arenas they feel called to - from reading to children, to serving as a Volunteer Hospital Chaplain, to helping out at One Spirit events, to a wide variety of other service opportunities.
