Admissions Checklist

2. Attend an Open House
(or call us!): meet students, graduates, faculty, and staff.
(Recommended but not required.)
3. Obtain/Download Primary Application
Materials:
one Application form, two Letter of Recommendation forms.

Please make sure to print two copies,
one for each reference (personal and professional) who completes
the form. Complete the "Applicant" information on both
forms, and give to your reference for her/him to confidentially
submit to One Spirit.
4. Complete and Submit Application along
with the following:
(All must be submitted before being considered for admission.)
• Resume or work history (type-written)
• Essay (type-written, see application
for specifics)
• Photograph, a headshot / passport-style
portrait, preferably 4inches wide by 6 inches tall - hard-copy
or digital.
NOTE: Please apply early.
Applications are now being accepted for the Fall 2008 term.
As in years past, the seminary program is full to capacity again
this year, causing many late applicants to be turned away. To
ensure a place in classes beginning September 2008, please apply
early.
5. Pay Application Fee (non-refundable).
To pay your application fee, you may:
• Include a check with your mailed-in application;
or
• Provide credit card information on the application, and
mail or fax it in; or
• Pay Online. Use our secure, on-line service to provide
the appropriate fee. On your hardcopy application, write "Paid
Online " in the credit card section.

6. Request Two Confidential Letters of Recommendation:
one personal and one professional. Complete the top portion of the
form and give it to your reference, who should submit it directly
to the address above.
7. Follow-up with References to make sure they
have submitted their letters of recommendation directly to One Spirit.
8. Attend an Interview. You will be contacted for
an interview to be conducted by staff or faculty, in person or over
the phone. In some cases, a second interview may be required.
9. IF ACCEPTED: Review Acceptance Materials. If
accepted, you will be sent an acceptance letter and additional forms
to return to One Spirit.
10. Confirm Acceptance. Complete your admissions
process by signing and returning the following items within 3 weeks
of receiving your acceptance letter:
• Tuition Payment Agreement
• Student Participation Agreement
• Financial Aid Application (if applicable)
• Book Order Form (if applicable)

11. Attend first class in September. Arrive before
9:00 a.m. for registration. Distance Learning students are encouraged
to attend. See Curriculum Calendar.
