In traditional Christianity, the faithful are told to abstain from certain foods and activities, and to pray in commemoration of Christ's 40 days in the desert. But our modern souls seek a deeper, more complex and subtle experience. Inner Lent offers a new possibility. What is the psychospiritual benefit of dwelling 40 days in the desert of our souls each year? How do we develop the conscious capacity to "vanquish" the most seductive temptations of our lives and our times? In this Lenten course, we will enter the wilderness together with the intention to recognize and overcome or transform our prejudices, addictions and fantasies. We will discover the biological, biographical and cultural roots of these temptations. Most importantly, we will design and undertake spiritual practices to support our inner development during Lent.

Working on the foundation of Rudolf Steiner's Anthroposophy and esoteric Christianity, Lynn Jericho has had a successful 15 year practice as a therapeutic spiritual counselor and adult educator.
