The comprehensive perspective of The
Conscious Leadership Institute moves beyond traditional
methods and practices and invites the curious learner
to explore the subtle yet powerful nuances of leadership
needed to more effectively address the complex challenges
of today’s organizations.
This Intensive, The Inner Life of the Leader, provides
a model for understanding and practicing more intricate
levels of leadership, addressing the inner life of the
Leader-Self. We look at the habitual patterns that drive
behaviors and outcomes and explore the impact of organizational
culture and social systems on our behavior. At this
Intensive, participants will have an opportunity to:
•
Conduct a Leader-Self assessment and examine intention,
life purpose and goal setting
• Identify aspiration, current reality, resonance
and creative tension
• Build a Leader-Self container through development
in awareness, presence and emotional balance that promote
non-reactivity and resilience
• Learn about relationship attunement; alignment
with one’s “inner compass” with others
and the group/community
• Train in facilitation as a core capacity of
leadership to elicit potential in others, individual
and group reflection, conversation, dialogue and conflict
resolution
This Intensive may be applied toward the Conscious
Leadership Institute’s certificate training program,
credited toward One Spirit Interfaith Seminary electives,
or experienced as a stand-alone immersion in practical,
authentic leadership training for the general public.
