The
Leader-Self
Within each of us is the potential for leading and following in
a multitude of life situations. Whether we develop our leadership
capacity depends on our motivation, interest in serving others,
opportunity, support and life circumstance. We become more effective
leaders with knowledge, skills and experience. However, to become
great leaders, we need additional capacities including awareness,
presence, and a connection to a deep sense of an interior Self.
Development of this interior Leader-Self cultivates discernment
and wisdom, strength and vulnerability, courage and compassion,
effective action and acceptance, adaptability and resilience, which
are all deeper qualities necessary to effectively meet today’s
challenges.
Our Objective is to Bring Forth the Leader-Self…
...where it has enough depth to be authentic and true
...where it has enough stability to sustain itself and add value
...and enough creativity and innovation to deserve the name of
leader
...where it survives and thrives against a background of continual
change
...where the doing must be adaptive, and the being must be resilient
...and its value ever-emerging and life-generating
