Learning Applied to Leadership

Certificate candidates are required to enroll in four weekend Leadership Intensives are held over a two year period. The series of Intensives address the deeper levels of the Leader Self and provides an overview of an integral approach to modern day leadership and organizational challenges.

This comprehensive approach moves beyond traditional leadership methods that focus on changing individual surface behaviors and organizational structures without addressing the root causes of those behaviors. Instead, these intensives will explore root causes along with the impact of the surrounding social systems and organizational culture.

The next Intensive is the weekend of December 5-7, 2008. During this intensive, participants will begin to explore models for understanding and practicing more subtle levels of leadership. Participants will have an opportunity for:
• Leader-Self assessment, intention and goal setting
• Identifying and working with aspiration
• Training in facilitation as a core capacity of leadership to elicit potential in others for effective communication, coaching and conflict resolution.
