Curriculum Structure

At One Spirit we draw from the rich heritage of human wisdom, wherever it can be found, to guide the deep inner work of developing a consciousness worthy of our common humanity, to support the emergence of humankind’s next level of conscious evolution. In our families, our communities, our nation, across the earth, and in each of our hearts, the time has come for us to remember our common identity, and to recognize clearly that our experience informs and guides our inner journey, and is central to one Spirit’s vision of interspiritual education.

Certificate Candidtates must take a minimum of the following:

Core Courses - choose two of the following three:

• The Inner Journey From ME to WE: Inter-Spiritual Perspectives on Purpose & Possibility
• Integral Development: Exploring Strengths and Overcoming Obstacles for Living in the Now (Spring 2010)
• Ancient Wisdom for Modern Life: the Great Religious Traditions in the Light of Contemporary Knowledge (Fall 2010)

Electives – choose two of three:

Electives allow each student to seek further learning in the areas that will most enhance their leadership. This is a sampling of the electives offered to CLI students. 2010 dates and tuition to be announced.

• The Enneagram: Nine Faces of the Ego and the Nine Aspects of Essential Presence
• The Evolutionary Journey from Dirt to God: Experiencing the Stages of Divine Energy through Music, Movement and Voice Dialogue (date to be announced)
• Voice Dialogue: Understanding the Deep Terrain of our Inner Landscape (date to be announced)

Weekend Leadership Intensives – complete four leadership intensives
Two required Leadership Intensive weekends will be held each school year, setting the context for the application of learning gained in courses and electives toward leadership.
Leadership Intensive #1 – The Inner Life of the Leader: Understanding the Personal & Cultural Context of Leadership
Leadership Intensive #2 – Inspired Leadership: The Hidden Impact of Our Behavior
