Death & Dying: Our Last Taboo June.1.2011, 7-8:30pm
As a gift to our graduating class of 2011 and to our alumni, we offer you this free class with our blessings. This is an important topic with practical application for new and experienced ministers.
Direct discussion about death and dying may be our last conversational taboo. Dr. Susan Lieberman believes the best time to consider the concerns of dying are while we are healthy. "Once we walk into a health care crisis, our brains usually turn to mush. If we can lay down considered synaptic pathways while we are healthy, we stand a better chance of thinking clearly and making better decisions than if we have only time to react," says Lieberman.
