Islam For Activists

Islam For Activists

As we have witnessed, attacks and discrimination are rising against the Islamic community in America. What can we do to change the discourse and message being promulgated against Muslims? Education about what Islam is and, more specifically, what it is not, is part of the key to changing hearts and minds. This course is designed to be helpful to teachers, activists, journalists, clergy or anyone who wants to make a difference in the world and help end discrimination.

Join One Spirit Learning Alliance on October 8th from 7 to 9pm (Eastern) for this free 2 hour webinar with scholar and activist Daisy Khan as she shares the truth about Islam as well as ways to hold difficult conversations with others who are reacting out of fear and ignorance. We need to be able to speak from love but also from knowledge. This live webinar is a first step in changing this dynamic in the world. This class is free, but love offerings to support this work are gratefully accepted.
