Learn how to integrate the wisdom of the Tao for more whole and balanced life.
"A way that can be walked is not the Way. A name that can be named, is not the Name." These are the first two sentences of the first verse of the Tao Te Ching, written by Lao Tzu over 2,500 hundred years ago. The Tao Te Ching is considered one of the greatest philosophical and spiritual d iscourses that offer instructions on how to journey back to The Source; the word “Tao” is often translated as “The Way.” But, if the Tao cannot be walked or even named, then how are we to know how to live it?
Fortunately, the Tao sends us her Five Messengers. These Messengers are the alchemical spirits of the Tao, and they offer a map to help us navigate through our mind, body, and soul back to Source. These unique energies reside in our organs and serve as powerful archetypes that symbolize how life force moves through us and on our planet. We will explore not
only what these spirits are, but also how they affect our intellect, emotions, insight, andimagination and open doorways to the inner self.
This interactive class with an experienced acupuncturist will introduce you to the Five Messengers and help you integrate the wisdom of the Tao for more whole and balanced life. By understanding how these spirit messengers manifest within us we will:
- Learn to maintain a healthy physical body.
- Discover tools for creating a harmonious emotional body.
- Learn how to connect more with others and the world around you.
- Practice living with Wu Wei, power without force.
- Understand more clearly how to live your authentic life path.
